Burnt out light already!!!

I bought some Luminics bulbs back in October. Tonight when I went out on my coffee break I noticed that one of the bulbs is already dead! Grrr.... I've only had the bulbs installed in the car for about 3 months now... Is this normal for these lights? Needless to say, I wasn't impressed since now I am going to have to change the bulbs in the cold, I don't have immediate access to a garage.

Any care to suggest any other good lighting choices (brands) available? I can't do HID's yet as our department is going on stike in the next few days....

I guess Silverstars... though I've heard tale of them popping after a few months too.

I used to run some cheap $20 bulbs... they'd pop every 6 months or so... I finally got tired of changing them and switched to Halos.

I had Luminics JDM Yellows in the fog lights. They lasted about 9 months before one just blew out over Christmas. I just haven't had the chance to change them out. I will probably just put the stock ones back in and see if I could find something different later on.

nramlow2006, HID's are very nice. They do an awesome job at lighting the road. I don't know if HID's would be a good idea for the high beams. The HID's have a period that they need to "warm up." This usually take about 30 seconds before they reach maximum light output. This I see is an issue. I wired my projctors to light the HID's for the low beams and both the HID"s and hallogens for the high beams. The is a link to the how to in my sig.
