CA dual gauge pod question

Hey there,

I recently bought a CA dual gauge pod for my A-pillar off a past Cobalt owner. After looking at it compared to my stock gauge pod I've noticed that it requires a different bolt to hold it on. My question is what is the type/size/length bolt that I need to buy to secure it in place without it looking like crap? I messaged CA last week but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
If anyone knows the solution to my problem please let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Dude, it comes with a long metal screw that can be purchased at home depot or Ace for like 3 cents. BTW, it looks like ****. Believe me. I just haven't got around to hiding it yet.

Yep. lol. I like the pillar though, it was a good fit and the color matched up decently. The screw is hideous though. It's easily fixed though.

Anyway, just go to home depot or where ever and buy several screws so you get the right one. Screws are cheap.

countersink means to grab a drill bit the same size as the HEAD of the screw....
not the shaft....

and just by hand, spin the drill bit so you make a larger hole over the smaller hole that the head of the screw can sit in when its tightened up.
DONT screw it all the way through obviously.

the result is, the screw head sits flush to the surface of the pillar.

I can see him messing this up. I know what you are saying though. What an0malous means is use a drill bit slightly smaller than the head of the screw. Then, if you have the luxury of one of these, use a countersink bit and lightly hold it on the very top of the hole. You will then need to use a screw with a head that fits a countersink hole. The screw head should look like the letter V. When you tighten down the screw (BY HAND), it will set itself flush with the surface of the pod. Do not over tighten though. This plastic isn't the strongest.

I actually didn't mean it to be rude what-so-ever. I am unsure of your understanding of hardware, which is why I tried to clear up what an0malous said before you ended up drilling a hole to big and having the screw go straight through the hole. I apologize if it came out wrong as I was only trying to help buddy.
