caliper painting?
Hey guys...
I bought some caliper paint right after I bought the car. Like 4 months ago. I just got the normal black. I hate how silver calipers look. And I really hate rusty ones. On my Accord, I painted them black as well. It looked great. However, I also had black wheels. On my Cobalt though, I have high-polished silvery chrome ones. Black might be too bland. I didn't paint them yet, so before I did I figured I'd ask. So I was just wondering what anyone else used on theirs. It doesn't need to be any model in particular. Just a Cobalt. However an SS n/a or SS s/c would be preferred. Post up a pic if you'd be kind enough to, also. Thanks!!!

I'm mainly between black and red. The car's black by the way...

Then I might just re-do the Monte calipers with the black, and do the Cobalt in red.
i painted mine black, i like colored ones, but on my old car i had them blue and it just seemed to get too dirty looking all the time and start chipping, black will almost always look clean, at least so far

My stock black on the Monte is holding up well. My Accord that I did the calipers black on was in very good condition for over 2 years. *shrugs*
That red looks good though.
Looks like I'll have a tough decision...
Thanks guys!! (more pics are always welcome!!)

I just unscrewed it, wrapped some thin ass tape around it (I forget what kind it was, and screwed on a black valve stem cap. Ghetto as hell, but it's alot cleaner than a huge antenna.

No problem man!
That's just like on my Accord, I replaced my power antenna with an OEM manual one so it was always down. I was in the process of getting a power antenna toggle switch for the Cadillac too. I don't know why, on cars I just think antennas look stupid. Some more than others.
I'm gonna look at ifferent ways to do this antenna thing come spring so I don't have a vale stem cap on my trunk.
