can't decide....

so over the past month or so i've realized i'm not too happy with my night visibility, so i've started debating projectors. problem is is that, i'm not a huge fan of the typical projector/halo style light that about 99% of the members on the board who have halo's have. not a fan of them. so i started looking around on ebay and i found a design that i really like, but i can't decide between the black or chrome. my car's black, and i'm leaning towards the black, but thinking about my stock lights, i like the chrome enough to make this a hard decision. still leaning more towards the black though.

now, one thing that i'm a little worried about, some places say some wiring is needed for these lights, while others say its direct plug and play, while a few others actually say both. i know jack about wiring, and i don't want to do any wiring at all, i just want to plug them in and have them work with minimal tinkering. so, with that said, my questions are:

1) do you typically have to do wiring with halo's?

2) will i have to aim them, and how hard is that? i know i pretty much go up to a garage door and aim them like that, so i'm not too worried about that step.

but anyways, here are the lights:

black

chrome

Definitely go with the black ones, they look really nice. I'm thinking about getting some halo's too because they look awesome. Anyone know the answer to his questions, 'cause I have them too...

I don't have those ones.. I have the older projectors... But yeah, you will more than likely have to do some wiring for the halos and led's.

Get the black ones.

are they plug and play, or is wiring needed? thats going to be the dealbreaker for me, unless i can find someone to do some wiring for me so they're just plug and play.

and black it is if i decide to get 'em. made that choice pretty easy. lol.

just bought the black ones, not sure when i'll install them, if i'll wait for warmer weather or put them in when i get a free chance once i get them. hopefully they're not too hard to install. am i gonna have to aim them, and if so, how difficult is it? i'm sure i'll figure it out once i get them, just would like to have an idea in advance.

Sure. From what Rico said they're fully plug and play. On Monday I'll post pics in the appearance forum of the back of them, just so you can see the wiring.

The description says "EASY INSTALLATION , PREFECT FIT OEM REPLACEMENT" I'm pretty sure they are just bolt in, and you use the same wiring. But I noticed that they are for 05-06 cobalts. And you have a 07. Forget if that makes a difference or not.

*****... Good catch. I'll probably get them anyway and if they don't fit then I'm sure someone on here will buy brand new ones for cheaper than ebay.
