I wonder how that lip would look on a white cobalt

he couldn't wait any longer. had to take it into the shop because of his appointment or something like that. I would've done the same.

im just correcting your misinformation before it gets spread on the forum. Kinda like the if i swap my bumper inserts to the foglight ones i can run fog lights. which is untrue or or the classic SS wing bolts onto sedan trunk with the same holes. Just trying to help

 

Ok that's fine but I'm saying people have put the ss rear lip on their ls and didn't need to modify anything. Do you have a reason for that?

It looks great but watch your tip does not melt it. It looks like there is almost no clearance there at all.

 

I hadn't even noticed that. If I were you OP I would move that tip asap. Mine burned the **** outta my bumper and that's because I don't even have a lip

If you lowered that exhaust tip down, and maybe even switched to an oval one, then put one on the other side I think it would look good.

no it was mentioned cuz metallic told chevygirl to quit her **** cuz she gets defensive over mike always calling her out and shes got dirt on mike so she thought that she had a right to get defensive cuz of being called out all the time. lol

ls6 have you started your car since you put the lip on? and have you had problems with what term brought up about the tip? you have the zzp exhaust same as me iirc? zzp problems :/

 

i could go for that lip if i never find a SS rear lip w/grilles for my sedan, nice work OP!

I dropped the exhaust down with longer rubber hangers after the pic. Unfortunately the tape didn't hold that we'll and the lip dropped down on the pass side on the ride home from work. So it was leaning on the tip small bit of melting, but I will drop the muffler and possibly paint that area black anyways.

It's is when I start to think I should've left it alone!

 

Yeah I don't like the factory SS lip, looks silly to me. Doesn't flow with anything else on the car. I wanted a g5 gt lip, though they are made to fit an LS/LT rear bumper as well.

Oh well. Luckily, it's not permanent like a factory lip, so if I don't like it, I just peel it off.

 

I'll be taking my GT lip off for an SS one if someone wants to trade.

 

ya , just go with a factory lip. I personally never liked the aftermarket lips, think they look dumb. But that's my OPINION so nobody hold me to it.

 

Find one! haha i cant find a silver one anywhere, and a new one is too much, i could just buy a new G5 lip. if i come across one i will let ya know!
