No ****, they look really good dont get me wrong, but thats alot of $ for a badge. Especialy when you can get custom badges to suit your taste for $16(24Designs.com). Obviosly they're not carbon fiber like yours but how much dose a sheet of real carbon fiber cost? Not that much. Id be interested for a better price, but you gotta get enuf to make it worth your while as well. I understand that for sure.

If it is of any comparason, the JDM honda badges (The red ones) are about 60 bucks.... and they're not even CF.

Ok, Ill explain this again..

Its not a sheet of CF, wrap or anything. We had a mold made and its SOLID CF. We remove the gold peice and lay down the mold. We throw the gold peices away lol.

Haha you guys shouldn't throw the gold pieces away. I'm sure there are a few people who would buy them.

Agreed about complainers. I think some people need to find a cheaper hobby since everything is always to expensive. I can guarentee i will be ordering one soon. I have been looking for a quality carbon fiber bowtie and finally there is one available.

Yea and that $16 bucks for one of those badges isnt the same quality. The finish on my badge from 24designs is **** already. Wish i would have never spent the money on it. I could have put that money toward a good quality product. Obviously people dont realize what a brand new bowtie even cost. I even get wholesale prices and a new one isnt cheap. This isnt a bad price at all. CF bowtie ftw

Der... your dont read to good, do ya. My post clearly says there not the same as the carbon fiber ones. Also I made no comment on the quality. Don't be a know-it-all. And I think we all know or could easily find out how much a gold bow-tie is. Which dosen't even matter 'cuz he says he throws 'em away anyway. Stop trying to be "Captain Save A Vendor".

no, your post compared Mikes carbon fiber badges and pricing to 24designs, which makes heeap cheap cheap sheet plastic badges. i hate the fact that i bought one from them too, and i never will again.

a new GM Front bowtie at the cheapest i can find was $31. so mikes askign $50 for real carbon fiber + Labor + toolong cost to make the mold for the product itself. seems like a good price to me.

It isnt all about people not wanting to spend money.
Its about 80 bucks for a bowtie.

Will I end up buying one... yeah I will... they look sick.. but that isnt the point.

Not everyone can give out 80 bucks for a BOWTIE.

And don't you worry i know how to read. I know exactly what your post says. I'm not a know it all. I never said you couldn't find out what a bowtie cost, and yes he throws out the gold part but he still has to purchase that to get the chrome piece to mount the cf to. Im not trying to save a vendor i just know a good product when i see it.

I didn't mean it was about people not spending money. Yes i know its 80 bucks for a bowtie. And believe me i dont have a lot of money to just go spend it on whatever, but when its a good product im not afraid to spend the extra cash because i know its gonna last. Unlike what i spent on a badge from 24 designs. The cost reflected the quality. Wishing i never bought it.

Does it count that i had 24designs 2.2 turbocharged badge for my spark plug cover on my sedan? haha it was a cheap peice of plastic but it worked fine. I wouldnt use the bowties, they look like crap since they dont curve with the front of the car.
