Arrow Carbon Fiber Dash Kits

Hey everyone
I've found a lot of companies that offer carbon fiber dash kits for the Cobalt but most of them are fake printed carbon fiber, does anyone know of a company that isn't ridiculously expensive and makes REAL carbon fiber dash kits for the Cobalt. it would look sick with my black on black 06' LT ,and if anyone has this done to their car already, POST PICS PLEASE! thanx!

Someone is gonna say it, so I'll get it out there by doing it first...Rice.

WIth that said, as far as finding a company that uses real carbon fiber, but it is not expensive? Not happening, not on a dash kit..True carbon fiber is not cheap to manufacture, at least not the durable kind.

so ur saying a carbon fiber hood looks bad too? come on carbon fiber is high class and exclusive, im talking about a full replacement dash kit not some retarded stick on kit, the only other thing i would do is get a real brushed aluminum dash, thats looks good but carbon fiber is nice

I'm interested in that as well. Haven't purchased anything like it in the past, how much would anyone like to guess the price range will be?

Yes, i am saying a CF hood looks bad to, my preference though. Also, if CF is so high class and exclusive, why do most ricers have it, and many more want it? Bottom line dude, CF is not going to be cheap at all, not for a dash job, I'd say at least a grand for the higher quality stuff I think you're talking about, and that's not including labor.

I can handle a grand for an entire carbon dash replacement.

And most ricers around here just paint their hood black and call it carbon fiber.

If you are going to bother to CARBON FIBER anything, it should be for weight, not cause it's CUTE..

just for overall clarification...if you CARBON FIBER something, you're adding weight by wrapping it in CF. if you replace a part with an identical one made of CF, then you've saved weight--inside or out.

i had a ton of the stuff on my Z, and sometimes when you have a show car, it's necessary to use CF in certain spots throughout to maintain a flow and a certain theme or look. i used it in some areas as weight savings, and in others to maintain the overall look and flow.

i just want a carbon fiber dash because i like the look of it.

Roger That! Hope it looks HAWT!

They make an entire CF Dash for my 944 that I was looking into but it's like $500.00.

I want a wood grain dash kit...carbon fiber for the outside, wood on the inside, leather everywhere...that's my motto!

Here is a picture of the kit on a cobalt in wood grain. I think it's a neat idea, you can choose from about 10 different finishes.

As for all the negative comments about a dash kit, I believe if you get a nice kit (replacement peices, not stickers) and you take your time that you will be happy with the results and it will look nice. Things look shitty when use stickers and don't take your time. I am not even going to toss around the R word cause it has no meaning, it's almost like a cuss word to me at this point. 99% of the time it's just used to put someone or their ideas down.

PLENTY of cars have dash kits and upgraded interiors to reflect their owners style. Just because you want to mod your car and it's not performance oriented doesn't mean it's not worth your time and effort.
