carbon fiber hood

I just bought a carbon fiber hood, and I went to put it on and it seems to be bowed out in the center, thus being raised in the center and flush on each end. I know this isn't the way it is supposed to be and I was wondering if anbody has any suggestions on how to fix it. I heard from some heat it and put weight on it, but won't that wreck the clearcoat???? Any help would be extremely appreciated as I have a car show on Sunday. Thank you in advance
