Yea but I mean, big difference between CF and Fiberglass. I never even noticed in the titles that they were different. I definitely want CF.

the price difference is more because carbons harder to do and the cost of materials in insanley higher. i plan to make some side splitters and a complete front splitter with undertray and a piece of of 24"x48" airex foam core carbon fiber is like $580 depending on the supplier

I really like number 2, but I never heard of that company.

Not to slight the 2 cars above me, but number 2 would fit what I'm looking to do perfectly.

I've seen #1 in person on a coupe and it definitely looks sick. I've been considering it but to much for me and not a priority.

I didnt vote but I have my reasons. At 140mph my carbon creations carbon fiber hood separated from the car. Never did find it. Also I weighed the two hoods, 20lbs for CF Hood, was mostly fiberglass by the way with a sheet of carbon fiber on top. And for the stock hood it was 40 lbs with all hardware, paint, etc. The loose fit and feeling of the CF hood always bothered me. You could install hood pins but this is what happened to my car.

Aftermath.

I voted #2, its a heat extractor design and since the hood is a low pressure zone it's actually going to do what it's designed to do and pull more air through the radiator, it's also the one I'd pick for my own car. I can't say as much for the rest of them.

, sorry I don't mean to laugh at you, but at 140 mph, I bet that thing flew quite a ways.

laugh away. Its pretty funny, I cut out the part after the hood took flight, I was laughing in the part I cut out. The car was easily on its way to 160 (where I set my speed limiter).

This, unless you don't go any faster than highway speeds. Never had a problem until I found a place to run it out.

this, I didnt understand why people would want to take an additional 25 lbs off the part of the car that in a place that needs the weight to keep the tires from spinning. I got my CF hood for free when the insurance company fixed my car from hail damage. I am now back to an OEM hood and it feels so solid when you close it. The cf hood was flimsy, poor fitment, and the holes were way off at the hood hinge.

annnnnd THIS is why i need some pins lol. but in all honestly, im not a fan of either of these hoods, IF i had to choose one id probably go with two since it looks to be functional. i personally like my hood style more lol. not too much going on at all but it still has a little ram air scoop for it.

carbon creations a junk company. I dont know. Could care less, they warrantied it I then sold the brand new carbon hood for 300 more than I paid for it and bought a brand new oem hood from amazon for 128 dollars with free shipping. Their quality control sucks but their customer service and warranty were really good.
