HERE IS WHAT THEY SAID:

Why do you need my credit card? Reviewing each and every application is a time consuming process. By asking for a valid credit card authorization we can be assured that we are only reviewing applications from individuals that are serious and committed to having their vehicle customized. If you don't have a credit card you can call our office to submit your application M-F 9am-5pm EST 1-866-340-1073

i didnt give any info yet

I will be brutally honest with you. I work for PayPal here in omaha as a Customer Solutions Agent. I hear phone calls all the time about this sort of thing. We can't even get there money back.

Ask them what the reasoning behind the credit card is and if there were application fees ask if you can pay with a check. The reasoning, you can take them to court and have actual prove of the check.

So having a credit card makes you serious about modding your car.

I bet what this is, is a company that receives wholesale pricing on automotive used junk. They tell people they sponsor them and give them a slightly discounted price compared to normal market costs.

It's a scam buddy. Unless your going to be representing the company in Major auto shows and your paying to get the car there, i would walk away.

i once registered that i had a Ford Piece of **** that Barely Runs. what response did i get?

Congratulations! We have reviewed your application, and have only ONE available opening for a Ford Piece of **** that barely runs! Please pay the processing fee immediately to secure your position.

moral of the story? if you're going to be sponsored by someone, it's going to be because they know that putting their name on your car will be profitable. it's much more complicated than filling out an online application.

Think about it from the company stand point. You pay me $89 dollars, then I give you $300 in parts... repeat it over for other people.

How they gunna make money?

the thing is, is that they won't have anything available for your car "at the time". keep checking back, and they still won't have anything available. and if they do, the "discount" you get will never be worth it anyways. if you have to pay for a sponsorship, it's a scam.

did a quick search and came up w/ these threads of members thinking about getting sponsored by them. there are plenty more but for some reason alot of members decided to delete their threads after paying the $90 and realizing they got ripped off.
