It took me a total of 25 dollars worth of paint/sandpaper to do my interior trim. Oh AND I painted the door trim as well.

This is the carbon fiber trim from GM. I just installed it in my black SS/SC and it looks much better than the original silver trim. The pics don't quite justify how it looks in person (poor lighting). However, GM doesn't offer the steering wheel trim in CF, so I custom decorated those myself.

As for the question someone else asked about the other trim kits, the red ones are just solid red paint, the yellow and blue are lightning patterned, and the carbon trim in the G5 GT's is solely done on the dash part only. The door handles and the steering wheel trim are left silver if I stand correct.

Yes they do. You can get them from any GM accessories catalogue, but CED will more than likely be cheaper. I get them for a much greater discount because I work for the company that decorates all of these parts for GM.

HOW did you do the steering wheel trim like that?? REALLY looks great! Matches the rest and a neat job!

I'm loving the custom trim, all the colors to be honest. I was just about to ask about this because the silver is starting to get scratched up on the doors in my car. but... ouch... that's a lot of cash for that. Makes me wish i had the skill to do it myself. Anyway, very nice rides everyone who posted interior pictures

WHERE did you get the CF for the steering wheel inserts and how much?? I've been looking and looking for a close match to the GM accessory kits available for the steering wheel. THANKS!!

The GM red dash trim kit is solid red...the GM blue AND yellow dash trim kits are both "lightening bolt" patterns -- base black with blue or yellow patterns...not solid colors.

If you're so inclined, you could save yourselves a LOT more money...build your own car from scratch...

^^^ you see. it's not worth the money. If they sold the trim for $100 then maybe.

im not agreeing with those that said they'd rather spend the money cuz they dont have the time but i'm kinda the same way. i dont have the time, nor do i really have the money to buy the kits themselves. so i did some research. ebay mostly. trying to find carbon fiber vinyl by the foot so i can wrap everything myself. piece by piece. easy enough right?
