I bought an armrest added xtra padding and recovered it with vinyl. Here are the finished pics. Dont mind the hair on it in the pic I didnt see it until I posted it.

 

jealous, not having an armrest is the only thing I didn't like on my road trips in my SS/TC. Is the armrest GM? Where to buy and how much?

where did you get your vinyl from? i can never find it at ordinary fabric shops.

 

does it get in the way when you shift have the e brake up?looks good

 

I had it in my SS/SC and will be getting it in my SS/TC when i comes in Wend. It doesn't get in the way of shifting, But it is a alight pain when it comes to pulling up the E-Brake. But the Pros of having it out weighs the slight annoyance of the e-brake.

I got mine from crateenginedepot.com & I still love my armrest. It is such a nice commodity to have for a daily.

 

It doesnt bother me for shifting or using the ebrake you just change how you grab the brake. I found the vinyl at Johann fabrics if anyone wants some I have a bunch of extra material I will sell.
