Any different advantages?

look in my gallery i got a bunch of pics of my CF hood. Cf is better IMO. much stronger, doesn't chip as easy, and you can paint over it just like Fiberglass. Much more durable and worth the money. Only thing if you leave it unpainted, i would take it to a shop to clear coat it, and make sure to wax it every 4-6 months to keep if from turning yellow.

gotta be a joke now, haha.

Carbon fiber looks cooler, is stronger than fiberglass, but its expensive and difficult to repair.

Fiberglass is actually lighter, and is much much easier to repair if you damage it.

IMO if you want a stock look but lighter hood go with fiberglass, you want the show factor go with CF.

I love CF hoods, think there a bit out of style now tho.

I have always wanted a CF hood. I would paint it and leave a 1 inch border of CF along the edge.
