alright, so i took my hood off for the winter and im wondering if its time to put it back on yet???

im in dutchess county NY and the weather is getting nicer.. just wondering what you guys all think about this.. and for any of you that leave it on during the winter... is the salt really bad for it?

 

salt can be abrasive and put scratches on it, but that works for any paint.

 

i left mine on all winter......but i didnt drive it hardly ever haha.

 

I just installed mine, and I live in Halifax/canada. But then again I dont really care if little scratches appears, I'll just get it wet sanded!?

 

ive had one of my cavi for abotu 3 yrs through snow ice etc. just take good care of it. you cant protect it from everything. rock chips can happen any time of year. luckily they are really not noticable in most cases
