does anyone know where i can find some decent priced carbon fiber hoods and trunks? i am looking for a oem cf hood and trunk, so if you can help me out please do.

they are kinda expensive....google it, there are other places that are cheaper.

 

i love seeing this. just remember u get what u pay for. sure ebay has 300 cf hoods...but i garuntee they wil crack, and the epoxy over the cf looks like ****. they'll show u a nice 700 dollar hood...but u don't get it. trust me, a couple of my buddies tried getting ebay cf hoods...GARBAGE! cobalt addiction prices r pretty fair actually. check it out.

 

i NEVER said ebay...there are other companies who specialize in hoods and they are cheaper...same material, but its up to the OP ne way.

Cobalt Addiction may be expensive, but most other places will be in line with their pricing as well. It can also be somewhat difficult to get your hands on it because of the Bush war. Shortages of CF material everywhere. I think this may also be part of the reason that pricing on CF product is so high.

 

x2...i forgot to mention that...another reason why i haven't been able to get my hands on a sedan cf trunk... boooo!

Those are cheap compaired to VIS. They are supposed to make the top line guaranteed perfect fit stuff. They cost even more than the xcelerated concepts stuff.

Yeah, but it looks like they only carry a standard cf hood. I would love to grab the trunk from them, but if I replace my hood, I want a touch more style than just the cf look and texture.
