Changing wheel finish\colour

As many people have experienced, I am also getting major flaking on my rims. I have an appointment tomorrow to get all of my wheels refinished. After seeing the rims on the n\a SS' I am thinking of getting away from the gun metal look and going to a more silver (not chrome) look.
I am looking for opinions\suggestions and I will talk over these things with the guys doing these. They have told me that they have a special new product from England that is supposed to be very strong and long lasting with several options for the finished product.
So let me know what look people would do if it was you.

Yeah go with the polished rims. Much better than the ss/sc stock wheels.

Personally I prefer the gunmetal, but to each their own.

So I took the car in today and my choice for refinishing all wheels was basically the same as the lite spots on our rims. They will look like the ones below that I found in brandon97z's gallery. (the ones on the bottom)

I will get the car back Thursday which is okay but just after I handed over my keys I got a phone call saying Stage 2 was at my dealers. Just my luck

I just got my car back from Nu-Brite Industries where they fixed my flaking rims. I had them refinish them lighter and I like the new look. It (IMO) goes better with the badges and headlights.

I traded mine last night for SS/SC (I had SS N/A's) I am MUCH happier with the gun metal look. I am going to get mine either powder coated black or add some pearlescent or however you spell it to match car color

They used a paint from England that is virtually non-existant here (i didn't bother asking him how he got it) and he claims that it is far superior to what was on the factory rims. Time will tell.
