Chevy badge on trunk?? how to get it off

So ive seen tons of pics of people who have removed the chevy badge of the trunk of there car and was just wanting to know how to do this. I went to the dealer and asked if they could remove it and they said NO cause it will scratch the paint and thats its almost impossible to get it off. Personally i think that guy was full of **** so im wanting to know how do to do it. Thanks for the help guys

get a heat gun and heat it up till its warm to the touch and then get some fishing line and put it behind the badge and pull the fishing line from one side to the other

The dealer just didn't wanna do it. When I got my door fixed (hit a pole) I asked the guy if he could remove the dealers badge from my truck which was put on just like the bowtie and he did no problem.

i used floss and then some goo gone for the excess....but also if you park it in direct sundlight, makes it easier. be prepared for the massive amount of glue that is behind the emblem

I took mine off and there was a big ******* hole!!!! Just kidding just kidding. But I used a hair dryer, floss, and bug and tar remover for mine. There is definitely alot of glue and **** behind it...patience is a virtue my friend!
