I am currently getting my ss bumer chopped up. I am removing the center bar in the grill. Also I am chopping the bottom of the bumper so that the bottom airdam meets the lower lip. I will post pics when its done or atleast in primer. I just took it in so... it might be a couple weeks. Here is a shitty photoshop of what it should look like. Please if anyone has done this already...post some pics

are you going to put anything in place to block $hit from flying into your HE and radiator?

 

Its an Lt so I really dont care lol. But yes i am. I really dont want mesh.... but I would like to fab up something that would look somewhat stock. I know that sounds funny but IMO a cleaner look is the way to go....not big,bulky ricer bumpers.

 

wouldnt that make it easier to crack the lip? say going over a speedbump too quick or a pothole

 

agreed. this would weaken the bumper a lot.

 

Its gonna be reinforced on the bottom. The pic doesnt do much justice but, They are making brackets for me for the bottom. If it doesnt work then I guess I will be selling some fog lights.
