cobalt ss front impact foam absorber

Anyone know where the hell the foam absorber bolts go. I ordered new foam and bolts from GM and the foam has no holes in it. Also the crash bar has no holes in it. Anyone have any experience with this. Thanks

the crash bar needs to get welded to your brackets, I think?

Yup it's not held by anything. You can place in the bumpers it should hold in place or mine at least does when I've taken the bumper off

yup. as long as your crash beam is on right, the foam sits on there, then sandwhiches in between bumper and crash bar when you install the bumper back.

Ok, that makes sense. I dont know why the hell the GM idiots have a part number for fasteners for it. There little black plastic screw pins. It fits nicely on my crash bar, just thought it got some sort of fastener to hold the contour before the bumper went on. Thanks for the help.

Like i said... The little black screw fastener things go through each bottom corner of the grill and attach to the foam absorber.

yeah, I would have been collecting social security by the time I figured that out. Once I saw the picture it all made sense. There is even 2 round raised circles on the foam with dimples to line right up with. What a difference it made on my car. The front is so solid now. Again, thanks to everyone. Also how do you get pics up on the site here?
