Color Match Wheels?

I'v been wantin to get my wheels powder coated now that the weather is gettin nice, but i cant decide what color.

I have a victor red 05 ss/sc, and im havin trouble decidin if i want to jump on the black wheel bandwagon, or go with the red rims.

What do you guys think? Also, would it be hard to color match if i decided to go with the red?

I saw a charger a few days back, White with a orange stripe and matching orange rims. Looked sharp as ****.

But now that you say it, It might be too much.

I do have a black lip on the front of my car, though it probably wouldn't offset the rims.

ya but there's a difference. That charger was white with orange stripes, not orange with white stripes. The wheels matched the stripes, not the car color.

Si, Maybe I wont go all red. Maybe do the lip and the inside of the wheel black, and the 5 "spokes?" "pillars?" "things?" red.... too bad my photoshop trial ran out, I could whip up little picture.

I know I've seen the opposite setup done and it looks pretty good. I'm interested to see what this version looks like, might still be a little too much red. Just gonna have to wait for a photoshop to see I guess.

My friends red SRT4 has bronze rims, that looks good. Also you could try black base coat, with red lip and red pin striping around the spokes. That would be unique...and expensive haha. Or you could do the reverse and put red as the base with black trim. Either way requires some custom detailing.

thoughts?

I have black out tails and emblems now along with being lowered (going wingless)

PS - don't mind the REAL quick photo shop edit. Literally did it in 2 mins.

idk, it might look good, maybe a better photoshop is needed, plus that looks more like copper, but I think that either black or gunmetal looks better on red. Personally I only like bronze on black, white, and blue.

I agree with tommy. Possibly a better photoshop is needed but i think you should go with a different color

a few suggestions:
1. black chrome looks awesome on SS/TC wheels.
2. black with a red pinstripe around the rim's circumference.
3. ditch the stock rims and go with Enkei ekm3's, MSR 045's, or O.Z. Ultraleggeras
