Color matched

Hey G5 owners, I just color matched the pontica grill to the car and it makes a world of differance and it was easy. The balt guys can do this to parts on there cars too
Before: upper and lower grill

After: upper and lower grill

there are more to come on the exterior still
I also did some interior piecses as well
before and after; door controls

forgot the after shot and with out tape; bezel around the shifter

also did my mirrors
before;

after:

i was shocked how easy it was and how different the car looks. I'll pst more pics as I do more. I plan on doing the mirrors, steering wheel controls and auto shifter. If you have any questions on how to do this, just ask.

I have a silver G5, but I thought about painting them black to give them a shiny look. Mines always this dull color. What kind of paint, etc. should I use to do this?

I used the duplicolor paint for GM vehicles. Made sure it was clean, then made 2 light and then 2 medium coats of black, then 3 coats of clear. It made a real big differance. Just take your time and go by the instructions on the can. I beleive it said 15min between coats.

When I painted all of my plastics and eyelids on my lights I used Krylon Fusion, it works pretty good.
