I got my back 3 windows done at 5% for only 88 bucks. Great Deal.

And colored tint can fade and look like ass even more.

And if you get autozone tint its more than likely going to fade faster and look crappy, especially if you attempt it yourself because its an art to doing tint

 

nope.. you cant get pulled for tinted windows its a secondary offense

You missed out. A bunch of people on a WRX site just got a good deal last thursday. $150 bucks all around whatever you want. Wasnt even all WRX's, just people on the site, I think they are planning another one in a month.

 

OMG you all have a ton of questions and no offense most of you dont have the right answers.....

1. In ohio its only limited to front 2 doors.... They can be no darker than 50% (useless in my opinion)

2. Your backs can be dark as you want.

3. I dont know who gave you the percents but 35% is awesome, I can see in an out great and 2 cars in a row at 35% no trouble yet.

4. Most trucks and suvs come factory glass with 20% on them. At our shop we match the front 2 at 20% and its almost perfect.

5. Limo tint is a 5% film (lower number darker it is)

6. Our shop runs around 180 for a two door vehicle. However our film has a LIFETIME GUARANTEE!!!!!!

7. It will never turn puprple or bubble.

8. Walmart and autozone film sucks pay to get it done right the first time....

 

thats mine with 30% on the driver/passenger 20% on 2 rear 20% on back and 30% on windshield

yes that is illegal in ny..i believe its 70% for the front windows.. i got pulled over in amherst i believe and i got a ticket for them..i HAD 20 or 25% driver/passenger,limo front strip and limo back 2 windows and back window. btw, i think the mirror tint looks awesome and i will be putting it on my SS/SC when i get it.

 

In IL, we can be as dark as we want on the back half, and have no tint on the front half. Other than a 6" strip on the windshield, and it can be tint or vinyl. I had double wrapped 2% on all of my windows (other than windshield) on my mustang, and couldn't see out almost, in the daylight. Luckily it was a vert, and I could put all windows down...as I only drove it when it was nice out. LOL Except for one time, it started raining, and I had to drive with the front windows down....I was soaked!

I did my own tint (4dr SS (5% back window/2 sides & 50% on front doors) for $30... /cheer


As for the gradient tint, its not my brand of tea, there is a neon that drives around here that has it upside down! lol, the gradient is on top. it looks stupid imo

 

I have a red cobalt and i got just the regular black tints put on it. On the fronts i got 22% and on the backs i got 6%. The fronts are illegal in illinois but i really like how it looks so i really dont care. Ive seen a lot of different cars with the colored tints and i really think it looks bad. I would stick to the classic black. Just my opinion
