Console and Antenna Questions..
Hey guys.. Two quick questions..
1. I have the center console with the arm-rest. My girlfriend's LS does not. I wanted to buy the rear piece that eliminates the armrest from the dealership. It'll be just the the s/c console then. It'll have the little tray instead of the arm-rest. Anyone have any idea how much it costs from the dealership? I'd assume no more than 15 dollars. If it's more, that's insane!! Granted, I could just trade here, but I want to still keep my arm-rest around if I wanted to put it back on later..
2. I wanted to know what you guys used to hack your antennas in half to do the Elite Antenna Haxors Mod. I already have it taped where I want to cut it, and I already have the rubber top for the newly cut piece.. I just need to hack the thing now. The issue? I don't have access to any type of saw or anything major. Would using a power-drill work? lol. No clue.. Oh, and also, how short is too short? I still want reception. I figured I'd cut it to about a foot instead of the stock 2.5 feet..
Thanks!

Well it's the black interior, SS 2.4, auto. But the rear piece I'm referring to is just a clip in piece. I actually pulled it off my girlfriends LS. It just snaps right in..

best thing you can try to do is call around to wreckers and see if they have any base models kicking around. i know my 07 sc doesnt have an armrest and has what your looking for so you might come across one for liek $20 bucks. phone around you might luck out . good luck

Yes it is black, but if I trade it'll probably be with my girlfriend on her LS. Otherwise it'd be a trade plus cash since the arm-rest is probably like twice the rediculous price of the console piece..
