Cops rock

okay so i locked my keys in my car and of course i couldn't find the spare so i called tthe police and asked if they could help me out. Of course when he arrived he was being a dick making fun of me because apparently "only stupid girls lock their keys in their car" (IM A DUDE) so i didn't mind him being a dick but the fact that his gun was scratching my car and i asked him if he could put it away because hes scratching my car and the fact he was literally careless about ruining my rubber trim around the rear windows on the coupe made me mad. to top it all off. he hit the audi parked next to me with that long metal rod he used to get the keys out with. now im not saying alll cops suck because i happen to know a few cops personally and they are real nice guys. but this cop was a ***

anyway! does anyone know where i can get these from? or the part no. for a gm part website?

heres the rubber piece muffed up.

it looks worse in person the big scuffs are like falling off.

so if anyone knows where to get this help me out. thanks

next time call a locksmith or worst case scenario a tow truck ... the $50-80 fee is probably cheaper than replacing the parts and paint on your car and they will get your keys out properly :/ shitty deal.

Ouch, sucks bc liability is on you for having them get the car unlocked for you, I never trust cops. Locksmith or bust

This...not many people know, but if you're still covered under powertrain warranty (5/60 or 5/100), then your roadside assistance will cover your lock-outs. It's not just for towing!

Oh, and in my younger days I locked my keys in the car...while it was still running.

I locked my keys in the car the other day. I was using the set without the key fob and locked up all my doors and left my keys laying on the seat. I had to get my dad to get my spare set for me.

I locked my keys in my car at Woodfield Mall. Which is about 130 miles from my house and spare set of keys. I had hopped in my car to find the closest chinese restaurant on my GPS, found it, then hopped back out and hit the door lock and closed the door. Only to realize that my keys were laying in the cup holder...

Thank God for AAA.

This might sound dumb, but what in the hell is that second picture. I see the scuffs but what is that part. Dont look like anything from a cobalt. The only thing i can make out is the Flannel shirt.

LOL I cant stop laughing. "Please hurry tow truck driver, or I will need some gas too."

My wife actually did it with her LS and managed to get it open with a coat hanger herself, didnt cause any damage eithor. I was very surprised.

I did it while I was in high school...luckily I was able to convince a friend of mine to ditch 1st hour with me and drive me home to get my spare. I just left it idling in the parking lot for the 20 minutes it took to get the key.
