It is not the lens that is tinted . The vacum metalized chrome plating is a darker shade on the SS/SC's and all US 2007 G5's . So color will not be effected at all

the mods do need to think of a new search button layout, it really blows i can barely get it to work right half the time. it always just brings up any words you type in in every thread not a specific thread with what your lookin for

Ehh, wrong, try again. The lense is tinted. Look at mine you can see that the red looks darker under the lense because of the tint. I dont know whats goin on with the 07's but the 06 SS/SC has a tinted lense on the headlights.

Yeah the older SS's deff had tinted lenses but my 07 doesn't look tinted to me at all. Oh well no biggie.

Was thinking the same thing. Would look pretty clean I think. I love black headlights but I think they are just too much on the lighter colors of this car. The headlights are just so damn big. Im definitely doing silver to match the ride, and figure if they look like crap, go with a dark gray or black.
