clever. but, pointless as far as real world use. if i'm going down the track i am not looking down and searching for a gauge.

thats why i have all my gauges on the pillar and steering column. i can see them without moving my eyes but half an inch. and they're all red leds with no back lighting so driving at night is still very easy

This, although it's a pretty cool secrete place it's pointless if you're doing any kind of racing. Have you installed it in your car yet? Seems like it would get in the way.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw it. Cool idea but not practical.

yeah i mean its not bad. its not half assed and it looks pretty cool. for a show car i'm sure they would like it. but just gauges are meant to be used, not shown. and thats just not a good location.

its for my interceptor..... needed a good place for it. I use it to monitor temps an stuff its not something i need to look at 24/7. Its got the perfect angle on it so its pointed up at me. I def. did not want the lights in my face and on all the time so I put it dwn there. Serves its purpose and is easily hidden.

Its been done and looked awesome. Guy relocated single din aftermarket radio to HVAC spot and relocated HVAC to be slightly angled in the cupholder postion. It was a very clean setup.

Really? An interceptor is probably one of the most important gauges there is to look at. Well IMO it is anyways. But I run meth and watch KR3 like a hawk.

i was just going to get rid of everything. since i don't have hvac anymore. i was just gonna run a dash setup like they do in the comp eliminator cobalts.

like this mike.

minus cutting the glove box and what not. just get rid of the hvac controls. cut the trim piece and the side plastic. mount the gauges where the radio goes. these guys just have a blank piece there
