custom interior idea...

i was driving home from school tonight and thought of an idea, i dont know how id go about doing this or anything but its proabaly not too hard, anyway my idea was to somehow dremel part of the interior or something where the SS badge is near the passenger side, and somehow make a custom SS so that the middle is a translucent color and somehow hookin up a light in it so basically the idea is that the SS will glow the color of your choice, i think itd be cool...anyone who wants to give it a shot feel free, anyone seem interested?

lol guess not

It actually wouldnt be hard at all. The dash piece comes off, u just need to drill a hole and install an LED or 2. then u can wire it to ur cigarette lighter behind all the dash pieces. Sounds like itll only take a few hours if u know what ur doing. I dont know what im doing so sorry i cant help u out

That sounds extremely easy to be honest, to bad I don't have an SS or i'd give it a go. I could always use more LED's in my car, the 139 that are in there now just don't seem like enough :P

Make sure you post a picture if you ever get around to making it.

I was thinking it could maybe be a shift light, but the boost idea is way sweeter.

Not that I could do the boost idea in my le5 :/ haha
