Customized stock rims

I was curious as to what you all thought of my rims. I had the lip and spookes machined, polished and cleared and then had the inserts painted black.

You are probably going to hate me for this but they were free. The wheel repair company that services my shop hooked me up due to the volume of business we give them. It probably would have cost the average joe about $600 to convert the plain jane silver rims to what I have now. Very appreciative for the connections I have.

That looks fantastic . I always wanted to do this exact same thing with my 18" stock wheels , but that project never got off the ground . I want to do this to a set 2008 10 spoke SS wheels now .

Great idea

Looks good, a pic from the side of the car would help to show them off better. Good job though.

Excellent job A local shop here charges around $120 per wheel to refinish them any way you want it.
Not worth redoing the stock wheels at that price, so I envy you for getting them done free!

I am just very fortunate to work where I work and have the relationships with my vendors that I do.
