Customs Hurst STS Shift Knob.

Well I bought a Hurst STS that had seen better days. Come to find out the knob was cross threaded on and was stuck and not moving. I tried and tried to twist the damn thing off with no luck at all. Finally I got pissed and took a damn monkey wrench to the thing. Well it came off but looked like hell and had gashes all in the side. I sanded it down a little and just threw a coat of flat paint on it and called it a day. Finally got it to re-thread and it sat down nice and perfect but sure enough the paint started chipping. It got to an unbearable point so I decided to take it off and do it the right way. Went down to my buddies dads shop and went to town. We sand blasted all the old crap off and coated it with body filler. Smoothed it all out and threw a coat of primer on it then blocked it and sprayed one more coat of primer. Then I added a couple coats of supposed to be flat black paint but turned out glossy so I wet sanded and polished it to the finish product. And here it is let me know what you think. Personally I love it I think it turned out great.
