I've noticed a couple SS's with dark grey (black?) climate controls and stereo. How do I obtain a dark grey climate control? I'm going aftermarket stereo

Buy one used at a junkyard or online. Its an easy swap.

 

Haha no dont paint it. People sell them on here every once in awhile. They usually only sell for 20$ or so. Or u could buy one from the dealer but its probably expensive compared to 20$. Idk if cratenginedepot.com sells them or not. Id check there aswell

2010 Cobalts came with black radio/climate controls. Junkyard is a good place to look

i paid 35 on ebay. most sell them for 45+

 

Black hvacs are always gonna sale for more than the grey ones worst case buy a black face off a member and swap them out

 

no one just sells the face, just buy the whole thing and repalce it.

 

alot of people sell the face i just bought one 30 mins ago just have to look

 

Yeah StarBurst was gonna sell me just the face, but I decided to just get the whole unit since the prices were the same.

 

exactely, the "face" sometimes is just as much as the complete kit.
