daytime running lights

hey sorry if its a repost but the search feature isnt working yet. it is my understanding that the daytime running lights (drl's) on the 2005 and 2006 balts are the parking lights and on the 2007's its the lowbeams (or the regular lights not the parking lights). i dnt mind it for now but when i get projectors in the near future i wood like to have the halo's and led's on as drl's and not the lowbeams. does anyone know if theres an easy way to rewire the drl's to make em the parking lights?? maybe jus changing some fuses? lol idk. anyone?

I beleive that on the 07's , the DRL is a low voltage sent to the high beam ...not the low beam . Given that , not sure your gonna be able to do what ya wanna do . A low voltage reference wouldnt light the LED's or cold cathode tubes very well at all . And on the 05-06's theres no way to separate the DRL and Turn signal as they come out the BCM as 1 wire . So if wired up the Halo's as DRL's in the 05-06 they would also blink when the signals were on .

Pretty sure to do what you'd want in a 2007 , you would have to pull the DRL fuse so it wouldnt light the high beam . And then independently wire the Halo's to a relay that would turn them on with the ignition key .
