De-badging Car???

ok, my car is all mucked up with decals.
the dealership name is on there, the big chevy symbol (which looks hideous).
wondering how i can get it off without destroying the paint.

3M adhesive remover works GREAT and won't damage the paint. However if you've waxed the car it'll strip the wax off so you'll need to re-do the wax job.

Just use fishing line or like sewing thread to take off the emblems and after u take that off, there will be black glue stuff stuck on there. In order to remove that it takes time, but just use like goo gone or simple green and it'll come off. DONT USE A FLATBLADE SCREWDRIVERS or anything sharp like that. And to remove ur dealers name sticker, just get a blow drier and put it to the hottest temp and it should come off real easy.

Like Josh_877 said, the dealer's emblem will be the easiest to get off. I just pulled mine off after the car was out in the sun for a while and then on the adhesive I sprayed the 3M stuff and it just dissolved it and I wiped it off. I haven't done any of the other emblems, but it should work about the same with the 3M stuff it'll just take a few cycles of spraying, pulling, etc.

Nope, it's just adhesive at least I can't see anyplace where it's screwed on. It'll probably take you a while, it definitely helps if the surface is warm when you start, then just go around it with the 3m stuff and it should eventually work loose. Just make sure you have the time to wash (and wax if you want) the car after you're done to get all the stuff off. The 3m won't hurt the paint, but to be sure you've got all the sticky stuff off I'd wash it when you're done.
