Debadged the Balt! Pics

I debadged the car a couple days ago. I took everything off except Cobalt SS on the back.

I took a couple quick pics. What do you guys think?

I think it looks much better because I hated how the '05s had the side emblems up so high. I would take off the cobalt ss off the back too. I have everything off mine except for a "ss" on the front and I love how it looks. Even if you keep the cobalt ss on the back, it looks much better. Your car just keeps looking better and better.

I always hated that about the 05's too. Not to mention they were a little krooked from the factory. I am still debating on removing the Cobalt SS from the back. It now looks like it shouldn't be there.

Eibach sportline springs. 1"front 1.3"rear drop.

Should I remove the Cobalt SS badge from the rear?

Wear and tear is good. I have had them on for over a year now.
The stock truts are going to need to be replaced in a year or two.
Besides that it's good.

sure, take care of all the big **** first and now you are just trying to do some kind of work on your car. i think you're about finished. about time to start over and build another one! you might as well take them all off for that crystal clean look. sharp as always.

Looks good.

You going to lose the wing or shave the trunk lock?

i say take that last badge off. it throws off the balance of the car looking at it from the back. it would be alot cleaner with it removed. i debadged everything except for the front and rear bowties which i just bought c/f overlays for. another idea, if you never use the keyhole for the trunk you should get a piece of red vinyl to cover it, and possibly tint the
3rd brake light...

where did you get the sick ass hood?

you've done a great job with her man...i'm diggin the ride.

That was definitely the right move. Your car looks so clean without the badges.

The wing will stay but the trunlock has got to go. I can't find a company that makes a smoothlock for the trunk.
I don't want to bono and paint.

Thanks Fresh. Yeah I think that last badge is coming off tonight.
I'm going to have to do that. Get a peice of red vinyl for the trunk lock.
I can't find a smoothlock cover for it so i'm going to have to use vinyl.

The 3rd brake light will eventually be LED and sprayed with nightshades.
I got the hood off Ebay when it 1st came out for the Pontiac G5. I paid $299 during the promotion.

Thank you very much.

Nice job man. I just recently debadged everything myself. That is 2 hours of removing adhesive with my thumbs I will never forget... But in the end it was all worth it.
