i took all the badges off on the car, how do i get the outline off of the paint. i washed it but you can still see where the badges were. when i took the chevy bowtie off last year i got it detailed shortly after and they got the outline off.
wut do!?
wut do!?
on my car i had the same prob, used wax and goo gone....still had an outline, after the car got dirty and whent through 2 washes it whent away....and my car is yellow so it would stand out if it was still there
did u use gas 2 take it off? that usually leaves noting... but on cars i debade i use gas and a lil wire then rub all the sticky **** off then buff and wax the lil spot by hand or with an orbital
I used some polish and a hand buffer. And if you look real close you can still see it.
For mine just wax did not take it off. I was going to take my door molding off also.
But after seeing the outline from the rear badge the moldings will stay.
I didn't think there would be any issues with it being it's new. Mine was only built 9-09

I ripped my rear bowtie off tonight, but it took longer than I expected and it got too dark for me to finish, so I'm bringing bug and tar remover to work to finish removing the adhesive on my lunch break, and then I'm going to the car wash after work. We'll see how the paint looks on mine tomorrow. It may help me decide whether I'm going to leave it off or paint it black and put it back on.
