So the previous owner debadged the car expect this adhesive mark. I tried wd-40 and an adhesive remover. Nothing gets it off. Any suggestions?

 

it's likely been baked on there for a pretty long time. I'd say that might need a buffer and compound. At work we also use a rubber wheel on an air tool to remove old adhesive, but that's a bit dangerous, can easily burn the paint.

mineral spirits and some elbow grease. if it doesn't come off, use a compound. then wax it.

 

I heated mine up with a blow dryer and scrubbed it off with Goo-gone

 

when in doubt put some gas on it lol.. just dont leave it on there very long

 

Rubber eraser wheel works great but as Tommyp said dont press too hard!

 

Update: so i worked with some more wd-40 and a blow dryer. I got all the black adhesive **** off. But the tape like stuff WILL NOT come off. ugh.

 

Mineral spirits or Goo Gone. Auto parts stores sell adhesive remover for stickers, try that also

Use bug and tar remover and as soon as it starts to dry rub with your finger. Works like a charm
