debagde...opinions on this

alright the past few months i have wanted to de-badge the rear.
I have come to the idea of making it say "slobalt" on the back..

what do you guys think?
and im just doing this because i know my car isn't the fastest thing in the world..its pretty damn slow. Its more of a joke persay.

any thoughts?

Don't debadge. It looks incredibly cheap and plain in my opinion.

I think it looks pretty clean without the badge.

yeah debadged (done correctly) looks very clean. the typical debadge job (where you can still see the faded lettering ) looks crappy, yes.

yeah, at least take off the bowties, those things are hideous. Chevy needs a new logo, i'm thinking about painting in the ones on my wheels too. Gold on black is also hideous and gold bowtie on black car = super ugly

My bad wrong section.
But im really digging the whole Slobalt idea. Add some character to the car.
Also the GM badges are going...those i've wanted to get rid of since i bought the car. Just never got to it because of the weather.

But i think im gonna do the Slobalt. Need to do some visual stuff before the big april meet.

07CobaltGuy, wanna meet up maybe this weekend? I wanna do this right and since you have done it already, i know it would be. Only way i couldn't is if i dotn get my car back from the shop today or tommorow.

i like the debage, but leave the bowties on after painting them.
i personally find the trunk to look very dull when its bare and the lock sticks out like a sore thumb.(unless you shave it)
