k got another ? lol. My friend was telling me today that if u are rearended and they look at ur car and see blacked out lights, insurance can say that the person didnt c u because of the taillights. he has an 06 mustang gt and he has film tint on his tails. just wondering if anyone has heard this or not???
i got rearended with night shades, was stopped at a red light, some 16yo girl didnt even try to stop, too busy on the phone, i didnt get a ticket, it was her 2nd wreck in the 4 months she had her license. the rule in most states is if you can still see the lights in 1000 feet, they are legal, IE, more than 3 coats of nightshade is less than 1000 FT.
the search button is your friend...but I bought mine tinted, some people can tint theirs themselves pretty good, but I've also seen some that honestly look like **** because people don't take their time, put too much on, or whatever...id rather just buy them that way so I get the best look...thats just my opinion, no offense to people that did it on their own, I just know personally I can't do it and have it turn out good haha

the best way to do it is to vht them your self, take them to a paint shop and let them shoot the clear on professonaly. then wet sand them yourself. the spray can clear will not last. it will look good at first but it will look like **** within a year and a half.
it will cost maybe $50 extra dollars, but if you care about how your car will look next year, do it right. another option is to redo it every year which will end up costing the same as doing it right.

is there anywhere to buy these other than online. like in a auto parts store like autozone or pep boys or something?????????
