different color rims

that would probably be the difference, unless they are like mine and just really dirty!
Here's the skinny...there are 2 options, the painted "Hypersilver" wheels which are the most popular, and the high-polished version. Those are the only two from the factory.
That being said, there are more than one shade for the painted wheels. My car came with abnormally dark rims on it, and I loved it. Ony problem was one of them had a knick in the spoke, so the dealer offered to swap a wheel off of another car on the lot. They tried 4 different cars and none of them matched, even though they were equipped with the same wheel.
The dealer gave me the option of swapping all 4 from another car. As much as I loved my darker wheels, this is what I did because I didn't want a chipped wheel on my new car, and I also didn't want to not be able to match my original wheels if I ever had to replace one down the road (which I just had to do, so good thing I got the lighter ones).
Short answer - yes, there are 2 shades of the painted wheels, but there isn't "supposed" to be as far as I know, just an inconsistant coating process over there in Korea or wherever the hell they make them.
