Different hood

I'm wanting to swap hoods on my TC, just looking for some outside input, was thinking about going carbon fiber but fiberglass is good too, anyone wanna help me decide cuz im not so sure what i want?

i was kinda thinking about this one tho....

How about a Suncoast Creations one... at least it's functional.

They do some of the hoods for GM too.


Functional Ram Air and Heat Extractors in the back. Ducted/drained in a way that no water injestion or water dripping on your engine happens.

That's not the ss. It's the spyder cf hood if I'm not mistaking. Go with invader( doesn't cone with the plate to prevent water getting in ur engine), ss, rk sport ram air hood in fiberglass (which doesn't come in cf anymore) or oem cf hood like I got

This one is nice but i like the gt hood better

I like this hood. How much did you pay for it? Also how did the hood fit? Did your auto body shop have to do a lot of work on the hood? How much did it cost to get painted?

as in how good it works or looks. looks like it drags air in to the engine. just check to see if it prevents any water from going in the engine bay

has anyone thought about making a hood like the evo 8 have for a sc since its right were our superchargers sit at i thought about tryin to find a evo hood and cutting the air duct out and getting someone to fiberglass it in a stock sc hood
any ideas on that?

I love that hood. That is exactly what I am looking for. Good find. The g5 GT slotted hood is nice too though.
