Keep looking on autotrader and I keep see this different spoiler between the two.
Why?
I looking to purchase one with the taller one.

they started offering the low rise wing i think as far back as the SuperCharged models since guys where complaining of the High Rise Spoiler and where swaping wit LT models.........I LOVE THE HIGH RISE!!! I just dont think the car looks the same without it. Anyways, when the Turbo models came out in 08 it was still rare to get a low rise spoiler but by the time 09 came out it was almost 50-50 that year. Of course the last year 2010 you could only get the low rise spoiler.

I have a hunch they did this because they were low on the high rise spoilers the last year and wanted to get ride of the massive amount of low rise spoilers from the base models tat they had.

Its the same with the RPD......the last year they came standard and that was because 09 they hardly sold any seeing how GM did a **** poor job at showcasing what the RPD was and most GM dealer didnt bother ordering then in the Cobalt SS Turbo............

O.o

Link.

from 07-10 models on the cobalt coupe, the high rise wing was an option. on 05 and 06 it was standard.

don't get stuck on the selling point of a car being just the wing. You can always get a wing down the road and put it on. People sell them for dirt cheap. Seeing how most people don't really like them anyways.

The important thing with Cobalts is the limited slip diff option. It's the g85 package. When u look at a cobalt go in the trunk and lift the carpet up and look at the Gm option stamp on the left side and make sure g85 is one of the codes. This is the option ull regret not getting and it's quite expensive to change over later
