Okay, so my car obviously doesn't like being cleaned because every time I clean it something happens. Last time I backed into a pole and today the wind blew the door into a pole. Caused a dent about 2" long and 1" wide right in the crease under the window. So I went to Advance and bought a Ding King and was wondering if anyone had used it and if it works. Please tell me it works.

 

Actualy it does IF the dent isn't too big or hasn't put a crease (sp?) in the sheet metal.

 

the dent you have is more like a crease ding king will not work don't waste the cash. Have a pdr guy do it "paintless dent removal"

 

Well it probably made a crease because it hit the corner of like a 4x4 on the carport. So I'm assuming if there is a crease of any kind then no sort of paintless dent repair will work?

 

if theres a crease there no cheap way of fixing it

 

ding king does work.... i've used it... just make sure when your pulling the dent out to take your time... do NOT do it right away... take about 5-6 minutes to pull the dent out (turn the knob in small increments) It'll help the shitmetal return back to original

before you try anything do this.....take a heat gun or hair dryer and heat up the ding for a while as soon as you take the heat gun off the spot take a duster can from staples etc. and hold it upside down which will shoot the liquid nitrogen like C02 or wutever. shoot this directly at the middle of the ding. depending upon the size of the ding etc. it works most of the time. so heat up then spray in the center. it will cause the ding to come undone in front of ur eyes most of the time.

 

I saw a lot of talk of this on the internet but never anyone who said anything about the outcome, has it worked for you?

Well I gotta say the Ding King works pretty good. After using it 3 times my dent is about halfway out and the instructions say it can take up to ten times but god I hope not. I couldn't finish it today though as I got rained out. Maybe tomorrow
