these poor cars

 

i know mines not a cobalt but ill post up pics tomorrow. Some kid who is a friend of a friend type deal wrote wash me in the salt on the side of my car. I then went up to his scion with my key out and when he asked what i was doing i said writing paint me on the side. he didnt find it too funny. wasnt actually going to do it but he offered to pay to get the door detailed so that made me feel a little better.

 

Mine was really nasty looking today, but I didnt take a picture before I cleaned it.

Actually, if it's freezing cold and they're covered in salt, leave 'em alone you do more damage by washing them. If it's frozen solid and dry the salt can't react with the paint or metal, it just covers the surface. If it starts to thaw on the other hand clean that **** off, that's when you're asking for trouble.

I'm about ready to give up, wash the car Thursday, snows Friday, city lays a load of salt, car white again...owned. Wash it again on Sunday, mother nature decides to snow again on Monday, city lays salt, white again...once again owned. This is getting ******* ridiculous .

I'd kill someone for that..... Not so much for what it says.. but for possibly scratching the paint..

 

yeah i was pissed. Hes a friend of a friend but after i saw that he did that i walked over to his car with him watching with my key out and when he asked what i was doing i just said writing paint me on the side. thats when he realized how pissed i was and offered to pay for it to get detailed. i wasnt gonna do it but it got my point across

So doing this next time somebody writes in my dirt.

i can't wait to give my car a wash. just have no money right now to go and do it. this will be the first time i've spent any money on washing my car. always had a free wash bay to do it in as i worked for a dealership for the last 4 years.

i always wash mine at home. never seen the car wash. never will.
