Mkay this isnt in the haynes manual. I have the door handle shell that has the handle inside of it removed. This is the interior handle.

The chrome is peeling off the handle and I need to paint it, but I can seem to find a way to remove from the plastic box that its in. Anyone know how?

 

Do you have the door panel removed from the car?

You will have to remove the door panel in order to get to it.
