You know what would look cool, putting an EL Strip under them. That way you can hook that up to your interior lights, so when you open the door, the Cobalt SS lights up.

I just did a quick google and found them from $10-$20, and in multiple colors

i want them, MRZ - REDGTZ... how much for aluminum and how much for the stainless steel?

 

The hardest part would just be making sure the wires to the strips wouldn't get cut on when the door is opened and closed repeatedly. I really don't think this would be a problem at all though. About how much would you need to fully cover whatever would show through?
