Door Strips

Ok so i wanna get rid of my door strips but here the thing, I already removed the GM but it left a black square in the paint so i bought new ones and put them back on. My question is whats my paint going to look like underneath these strips or is there a trick to getting these of without screwing up the paint

hay yellow, you'll need heat, patiance, and goo gone.
heat up the stripes with a hair dryer, or heat gun, to heat up the glue and peal of the stripes this is ware the patiance kicks in, it might take some time to heat and peal at the sametime, then just use goo gone for the clean up.
if you de-badgeed your car send me a PM i need them see "I need your stinking badges" thread.

Yeh, I've already removed all my badges and strips...it takes a LONG time to peel off the leftover adhesive on the door strips. And be prepared to have very sore fingers afterwards...
