Question Dot Matrix Removal?

before i get my windows tinted, i was wondering if there was a way to remove the dot matrix at the top of the back window so the tint will stick better than if it was there. i dont want to spend the money just to have it bubble and peel on me. thanks

Put a vinyl strip over the dot matrix.

I just want to know if it's possible and if it is then is it recommended? Vinyl would be a last resort for me

When i got to get it done ill see if they can guarantee no bubbles on the matrix. if not ill just get the vinyl done after the tint. tell the tinters to go right up to the matrix

I did mine on the outside because I thought it added to the look of the car. I might reconsider that idea later but for now, I like it the way it sits in my drive-way =)

Black vinyl on the inside. Why bother making it harder? You wont even notice its there when its done. I dont.

Any reputable shop will throw it in for free. I paid 150 for my tint. 16% all around w/ a lifetime warranty, vinyl strip and front windshield strip.
