drifter 2 bumper destroyed

i was jacking my car up to remove the header, when something broke on my jack and the hydrolic fluid went everywhere. the jack dropped... and so did my car.

yes i'm an idiot. the e-brake wasnt on and the car rolled right into the garage door pushing it in like 5 feet. the bumper is cracked dented and scratched, and has white paint transfer all over it. and the garage door is busted.

morale of the story is dont be retarded like me.

any idea on a new bumper i should get for my car now? i'm not driving this thing looking like that. and i still have to put my exhaust on

invest in these:

or bricks, they are just as affective

but always set your brake & chock your wheels & dont forget about jackstands too...

Compared to the garage door I think the bumper held up pretty well....lol. I've seen bumpers in worse shape than that be repaired by people who are familiar with fiberglass work. Check around and see if you can get it fixed, that would be cheaper than getting a whole new bumper Im sure.

And like everyone said, thank God the car rolled away from you rather than towards you.

Thats why its a good idea to always use jack stands under the car when jacking it up. This way if the jack goes the car wont drop and roll away. Your very lucky it didnt give out while you were under it or you would be pretty messed up
