Drls + HIDs?

I'm going to do a retro fit, with fx-r's, but I'm also putting in an led strip. Is there any way to make just the leds be the drls? I'm a 2007 by the way.

would require alot of rewiring and in my opinion not worth the hassle. easier route would be to wire in a switch to a seperate wiring of the led's which run before the main headlight harness (similar to the way plows have theres setup so when the plow lights are on the truck lights are off). properly done you can turn your led's on and keep the entire headlight off and when the led's are off the headlights operate as normal

Thanks thats what I figured, I'll probably go with my original plan of taking out the turn signal bulb & using the empty socket to attatch the leds to this empty 3157 bulb base
