Dual halos

I have these lights: http://store.racer-union.com/Project...-p5499545.html

Now, I had them installed profressionally, but they didn't hook it up so the halos can be on just by themselves. The mechanic indicated to me it's unsafe to do so in hooking up to the parking/accessory lights, in relation to safety hazards with heat/fire.

Is this true? Also, what's the way(s) to do it, and what is the safest way to do it? Also what headlight set would have the best halos interms of distinction and boldness? I know there's one set around on some site that's supposedly better than the one's I have.

Also what generation would those lights be? Two?

I haven't had any significant problem with them. Just the early kinks of adjusting the lights, and at times the driver's side ballast won't power the light on in initial start-up of the car/lights. But I know it's just the ballast, and once I switch off the lights for some seconds then on again, it's fine.

Ah, that's right

So, after doing more research, aside from the lighting tone being more bluish in 8K, is the difference between

These: http://store.racer-union.com/Project...-p7663135.html

and my headlights linked above there, that they have adaptive/motioning features for the headlights?

If so, is there anywhere I could get just a HID kit like that with those features (xenon?). I love mine right now, advanced, but I wouldn't mind at all going even more advanced in that way.

Ok. You have the 3rd generation headlights. And there is no problem with tapping into your parking light wire. You just have to do it properly... Either heatshrink, or electrical tape, or soldering (BEST).

And the 2nd gens. have the best halos IMO because they are CCFL (Cold Cathode Floresent Light).
