i just used this on a nice stone chip on my fender, now after using this im takin player 1's advice on the lanka stuff, i just ordered it, the duplicolor is good too but too many steps, i wet sanded the area, then used my touch up paint then wetsanded again then added clear coat, now i gotta wet sand and one more time tomorrow, i have to let everything dry for aleast a day then i can buff everything and smooth it out and make it look almost perfect lol, but after all that, i said screw it and i ordered the lanka stuff cuz i saw first hand what it does, and its way less of a hassel, dont get me wrong the duplicolor stuff is good and it works but **** i could of been done already with the other stuff, just my 2 cents

 

Thanks for the info. I need to order the Lanka kit also. I was washing my car last week, and noticed a bunch of small chips that weren't there last time.

 

right now the chip has clear coat on it and is a lil rough, tomorrow i wet sand one last time and then buff it all together and its all good, its a decent kit but i much rather use the lanka, its much more user friendly but hey atleast that chip will be pretty much un noticable so its all good, now just waiting for my kit to come in the mail and then were rockin!

 

ohh and the paint is hazy where i wet sanded but not to worry, they give u a compound of some sort that blends it all together when finally done, all in all, its a great product...BUT a pain in my lazy ASS which is why i ordered lanka, cuz im a lazy bitch when it comes to this crap :P
